Proceeds from the Benefit Concert will go towards a Clean Energy Education Campaign. This initiative and the festival is being organised by the Conservation Council of NB, S.E. Chapter and is designed to help drive our province towards creating jobs by investing in renewable energy industries. Wind, solar, and geo-thermal energy production are now economically sound and are being implemented in various regions around the world. Large scale public awareness will get our elected officials working with leaders in these industries. The Clean Energy Education Campaign will inform New Brunswickers via PowerPoint presentations offered in community associations, public schools, colleges and universities. The Campaign will also strive to reach the public via newspapers, radio and television. The idea is to move away from nuclear energy, and uranium mining, and move toward strengthening our economy and creating jobs with clean renewable energy production.
